WHO WE ARE
The Kenora Roller Derby League is an athletic and social organization formed to give women in the Kenora and surrounding area an opportunity to learn and play Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby in a safe and healthy environment.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Women ages 18 years and older, regardless of their size, race and sexual orientation may be members of the league as players, volunteers, referees, officials, and coaches. Men ages 18 years and older may be members of the league as referees, officials, coaches or volunteers. The League accepts members under the age of 18 as volunteers and officials depending on the maturity level of the individual.
VOLUNTEERS, NSO’S AND SKATING OFFICIALS:
Volunteers are central to keeping our league working! If you don’t want to skate but are interested in becoming involved with the league there are a variety of things that you can do. We are always looking for volunteers to help with set-up and tear down at bouts, sell merchandise at bouts, keeps score, announce at the bouts as well as a variety of other tasks.
